I love mid-century architecture – especially breeze blocks. I wanted to capture the retro vibe of Cocoa Beach (which exists thanks to the space program and the subsequent development of Florida’s Space Coast), and I think I accomplished that with this mid-mod house piece. “Life’s a Breeze (on Cocoa Beach)” is a piece I created as an entry to a local coffee shop’s new bag artwork contest. While it didn’t win, “Life’s a Breeze” still holds a special place in my heart. I love mid-century architecture – especially breeze blocks. I wanted to capture the retro vibe of Cocoa Beach (which exists thanks to the space program and the subsequent development of Florida’s Space Coast), and I think I accomplished that with this mid-mod house piece. I hope you love it as much as I do.
